Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
ZeroCutLab ("ZeroCutLab", "we", "us", or "our") operates zerocutlab.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Your Files Stay on Your Device
Every tool on ZeroCutLab — Audio Cutter, Audio Merger, Video Cutter, GIF Maker, and Image Cropper — processes the files you open entirely inside your own browser, using standard browser technologies (the Web Audio API, WebAssembly, and the Canvas API). Your audio, video, and image files are never uploaded to our servers or to any server we control, and we never see, store, or have access to their contents.
Information We Collect
Because the Site is a static website with no user accounts, we collect very little information directly:
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes, as is typical for any web server.
- Local storage. We use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie-consent choice so we don't ask again on every visit. This stays on your device.
- Advertising cookies. If you consent, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads, described in more detail below.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a cookie-consent banner to ask for your permission before any advertising cookies are activated. If you decline, ads (if shown) will not be personalized based on your browsing activity. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this Site and reloading the page.
Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertising on the Site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
For more detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Your Choices
In addition to the ad opt-outs above, most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect the consent banner's ability to remember your choice, and may limit some site functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post the updated version on this page, along with a new "Last updated" date.
